Joseph Jayson is CEO of U.S. Energy Development Corporation. Mr. Jayson formed U.S. Energy in 1980 as a successor to Oilmark & Company, Inc., founded in 1978. Both companies were successful operators of private placement drilling funds that primarily drilled in Western New York and Northwestern Pennsylvania. Since 1980, U.S. Energy has acted as operator with respect to the drilling of more than 1,800 wells.

Mr. Jayson received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Indiana University in 1961 and his Masters Degree from the University of New York at Buffalo in 1963.
